He
holds over 27 years of experience in governance,
institutional reform and economic development, with a
career spanning involvement in national and local
politics, civil society leadership, and international
networking. He has been a member of the National
Assembly, as well as Chairman, National Reconstruction
Bureau (NRB), was elected Chairman of the Forum on
Ministers of Social Development in Asia, and currently
heads various donor-led governance reform initiatives
including the Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment
(DTCE).
Amjad Pervaiz

He has
18 years of experience in Resource Development, Project
Designing & Implementation, Enterprise Development,
Business Management & Promotion, Value Chain Management, TBL and CSR, Project Management, Fundraising, Strategic
Marketing, Proposal Writing and Technical Reporting,
Raising Citizens' Voice & Public Accountability Themes,
International Training on Resource Mobilization and
Teaching at the top Universities in Pakistan.
Mr. Pervaiz has designed and implemented hundreds of
short, medium and long term community based projects. In
2008 he won BBC World Challenge from among thousands of
the projects worldwide this initiative was titled “Women
Empowerment through Honeybee Farming” so far this is the
only project reaching to top in the world from
South-Asia.
He has been in the senior role of the leading
humanitarian and development organizations in the
country and has represented the country in several
international fora. In his leading role to establish and
maintain relation with external and internal
stakeholders Mr. Pervaiz established and managed the
relations with Government Officials, Donors, Partners,
Community Elders, Media and Volunteers.
Zahoor Ahmed (Late)
Additional Secretary /

He
holds over 36 years of experience in managing accounts,
procurement, human resources, audits, and providing
general administrative and logistics support for
corporate firms as well as international donors
including UNDP, UNESCO, JICA, The World Bank, USAID, and
the Norwegian Embassy. He has managed and arranged
numerous workshops, seminars, travel and other
logistical arrangements etc. He is looking after work of
Human Resource, General Administration and assisting the
Company Secretary under various organizational
committees at GINI for last four years.
He is
having more than 17 years of experience in IT management
and holds proficiency in numerous software packages for
database management, graphic designing, word processing
(Urdu and English), and web & graphics designing. He has
been associated with National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB)
under Good Governance Program of UNDP for more than
eight years, 2000-08 as ITP & Systems Analyst. He has
undergone technical training in France in Vehicle
Parking Terminal Management Systems (Parkeons) and
served with City District Government of Lahore during
2008. He has provided advocacy services for multiple
international donor programmes funded by UNDP, UNOCHA,
and the Norwegian Embassy.
Mr. Qureshi has successfully run various advocacy
campaigns on numerous themes entrusted upon GINI from
time to time focusing Citizens' Voice & Public
Accountability and Protection of Women's Rights on their
Property and Land. He has been recognized in the
development sector for managing the IEC Campaigns on
partner FM Radio Stations and maintaining working
relations with Press and Electronic Media
representatives in the Central Punjab Region in
Pakistan.
He has also designed numerous graphic design
deliverables, most importantly the Quarterly Newsletters
of the Governance Education Network (GEN) supported by
NORAD through Norwegian Embassy in Pakistan and Gender
Equity Program (GEP) supported by USAID-Pakistan with
Aurat Foundation.
Sabieh Haider Bukhari
Manager (Research) M. Phil (Government & Public Policy), National Defence
University, Islamabad M.Sc. (Economics), Quaid-e-Azam University,
Islamabad
He has
over 6 years of experience, supporting and conducting
policy research and analysis in areas such as Fiscal
Policy, Education, Healthcare, Governance, Democracy and
Decentralization. He has expertise in developing project
proposals and report writing. He has completed various
research studies funded by IDRC, US-AID, IFPRI and USIP
among others. He has recently completed his latest
research on "Local Estimates of Tax Simulations and
Governance Outcomes" which has been selected to be
published this year as an IFPRI working Paper.
As a researcher, he has acquired skills of management,
coordination and an appetite for action research. He has
a special knack and practical experience of liaising and
coordinating with policy community, academia,
parliamentarians and bureaucracy in Pakistan as well as
in South Asia.
He holds a post graduate degree in Public Policy. His M.
Phil dissertation titled “Devolving Education Through
18th Amendment: A Study in Policy Making” has proved his
grasp over public policy and management in the country.
Mohammad Nasim Khan Raja
(LATE) MAS (Public & Business), University of the Punjab, Lahore M.A. (Economics), University of the Punjab, Lahore MBA (Public Management), Netherland L.L.B. University of the Punjab, Lahore Higher Diploma in

He
holds over 40 years of experience in various capacities
in the Federal Government and working experience of
Management Research consultancy work, and capacity
building. He has also published widely on issues related
to Management. He has conducted various Workshops,
Seminars and Conferences at the national and
international levels. He has been retired after
completing his career as Director General (BS-20) from
Management Services Wing of Establishment Division from
Government of Pakistan. Raja Nasim is currently serving
GINI as Company Secretary and looking after the
compliance and oversight for various donor programs and
the corporate matters by the Company since its inception
in 2006.
Usama Bakhtiar
Ahmed
Masters in Public Administration and Management, Carnegie Mellon University - Australia
He
holds over 10 years of experience conducting policy
research, analysis, advocacy and evaluation for programs
funded by UNDP, USIP, IDRC, UNOPS, USAID, DFID, SDC, and
the Norwegian Embassy. He has worked for governance
reforms at the international level throughout the Asia
Pacific, and within Pakistan in support of devolution
and development.
At GINI, Mr. Ahmed managed the conception and execution
of the International Workshop on South Asia Tax Systems,
8-9 August, 2010 in Singapore, and is currently managing
the executive relations and affairs of GINI, which
entails significant community outreach and advocacy
through evidence based research and policy frameworks on
various themes, like tax collection sector, peace and
security concerns under USIP and Tax Policy & Enterprise
Development in South Asia with IDRC, Canada.
His academic qualifications include a Masters degree in
Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon
University, USA
